A document of my good (and bad) decisions and their consequences during my time in Sevilla, Spain

Things I’m bringing back to the states from Espana:

  1. Mi senora
  2. Rollerblading - It is everywhere. I feel like I’m in a bad 90s movie…I love it!
  3. Siestas
  4. Eating carbs - I love that it is socially acceptable for bread and potatoes to be a main part of every meal (which unfortunately means I’m probably brining back some extra cushioning as well)
  5. ‘Vale’ - They use this word for everything: okay, cool, right, etc. It’s basically become my default word when I have no idea what is being said to me.
  6. A Spaniard (or two)

Things I will most definitely be leaving behind:

  1. Eating with my left hand - Now, not only do I sound like a dumb mute when trying to speak, but I also look like an idiot when trying to eat
  2. Having to make my bed every day - This is probably the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do in my life (second only to having to write an entire paragraph in cursive on the SAT)
