Got my tex-mex fix TWICE today. First, I met some friends at Tijuana Tex-Mex for, according to them, some ‘genuine tex-mex’. I got black bean nachos and they were a lot better than I expected. They were even a little spicy. Mmm hit the spot! 

BUT THEN I got home later that night and we had chicken fajitas for dinner! (With potato chips on the side, of course). This is why I adore my senora - she is like my pandora station…somehow she just knows exactly what I’m in the mood for.

So to all my Texas family and friends, I was thinking of y’all today. It was nice to have a reminder of home…even if that reminder probably came straight out of an Old El Paso jar.
