After our tour of the winery in Jerez, we had a tasting of the different types. Before I left, my parents warned me that I wouldn’t like sherry. I wasn’t a fan of the dry sack (it tasted like raisin flavored cough syrup and I really just couldn’t handle the name), but I really enjoyed the Manzanilla. I tend to like sweeter wines, but this one was surprisingly the driest sherry. Apparently, I have more sophisticated taste than my parents thought (although, I will still always love me some Franzia).
